Fish and Wildlife Salvage (Rescue)
Sumac is pleased to provide ecological services for Stormwater Management (SWM) facility 'cleanouts', decommissioning of ponds, culvert replacements/construction and any other projects requiring in-water works. Our services will be utilized to ensure compliance with Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act and Endangered Species Act, where applicable.
We are trained in the identification and handling of various reptiles, amphibians and fish. Additionally, our ecologists are certified to operate a backpack electrofisher for fish relocation purposes (Class 2 Backpack Electrofisher Licence).
